Almacén de Fábulas is a publishing house dedicated to showcasing the cultural, artistic, and landscape richness of various Galician cities and regions through watercolor.
A different perspective, often referred to as a Travel Sketchbook.
The main goal is that the dimensions, the materials used, and above all, the drawings themselves, combine the desired qualities of attractiveness and artistic excellence.

Since 2015, the titles dedicated to Pontevedra, O Salnés , Viveiro, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Vigo, Lugo, Ribeira Sacra, Ourense, Cambados, Costa da Morte, Val Miñor e Baixo Miño, Eume, Ferrol e Ortegal. All of them are highly visual books, easily appreciated by tourists, travelers from all origins, and, of course, by the locals of these towns and cities.
These sketchbooks make excellent promotional gifts, tokens of appreciation, and means of spreading the artistic values of our land.

As the first project beyond Galicia, Cuaderno Toscano was published, featuring a magnificent text (in Spanish) by Isabel Parreño, complemented by maps and watercolors by Eduardo Baamonde.

Eduardo Baamonde

Author and illustrator of several children’s books and travel sketchbooks. Recipient of numerous awards as a graphic designer for posters and logos, as well as for his work in cartooning and, above all, in the Pintura Rápida (speed painting) category. A tireless draftsman, he always heads outdoors with a sketchbook and a small watercolor box. His passion for this medium earned him selections to exhibit at the Biennale du Carnet de Voyage in Clermont-Ferrand (2012, 2016, 2022). He was invited to the Festival des Aquarellistes de Bagnols-en-Beaujolais (2006, 2017), selected for the Festival Confluences du Carnet de Voyage (Aiguillon, 2019), the Salon International du Carnet de Voyage en Provence (Aix-en-Provence, 2023), and the Salon du Carnet de Voyage de Lourmarin (Provence) in 2024. His love for sketching from life made him one of the first correspondents in Spain for Urban Sketchers. Regarding Galicia, he has published sketchbooks dedicated to Santiago, A Coruña, the Northern Way, the Primitive Way, A Mariña de Lugo, the Pardo de Cela Route, O Salnés, O Grove, Pontevedra, Vigo, Lugo, Ribeira Sacra, Eume, Ferrol and Ortegal, Ourense, Costa da Morte, Val Miñor and Baixo Miño, Vilalba and A Terra Chá, Ribadeo, Viveiro, and Cambados.

Drawing Galicia with Soul

Each of his notebooks is an emotional journey through the visual identity of Galicia.

Baamonde portrays, with ink and watercolor, both the most iconic and the least known places.
Through swift lines and bold watercolor strokes, he captures the essence of each site, turning every notebook into an honest and direct vision of Galicia’s soul.
